This is almost going to be like a diary! Its going to have all of my inner thoughts on what is currently happening... oh my, this is going to be hard work to keep up with!

My Dearest Elizabeth and Lydia
My dear Elizabeth has already told me of her talk with my father concerning Lydia. Elizabeth's opinion on the matter is much greater than mine. I have never given much thought to my youngest sister Lydia. I've always simply hoped she would mature into a caring, young woman who would find a good husband one day. Though I must admit Lydia is a flirt, I hope she will soon grow out of it... I still hope for the best for her, and I do beg she does not do anything foolish while in Brighton. Oh, I feel I mus add that my dear sister Elizabeth says my lovely father called the three youngest of our family silly. I can see why, but I believe it is only for the best. They are still young and growing, and I believe one day they will all become agreeable young ladies!

Yes, they will become agreeable and a time with the militia will in fact help. Lydia is most ecstatic, along with myself. Lizzy should stop worrying so much, it will harm her more than help situations.
ReplyDeleteThat is true mother... I fear I am also worried about my lovely little sister, but I also believe that Elizabeth only means it for the best! Besides I do not want Lydia to come back heartbroken, for I know how it feels. Oh dear, I hope she comes back safe and sound!
DeleteI hope for the safe return for Lydia. I cannot express my sympathies and condolences for your family. If only I had exposed Wickham for who he truly was. I hope to find him soon and bring him to justice!
